The flag of the Republic of Serbia was flown again to the tunes of the national anthem "God of Justice" on 4 September at the Olympic village in Rio, on the occasion of opening of the Rio Paralympic Games (7-18 September 2016).

This solemn occasion was attended, besides our Paralympians, also by Serbia's Ambassador to Brazil, Mr. Veljko Lazic, as well as by Head of a mission of the Serbian Paralympic Committee in Rio Zvonko Rot and Secretary General of the Serbian Paralympic Committee Bojan Jacimovic.

Ambassador Lazic, accompanied by officials of the National Paralympic Committee, visited our pavilion, wishing Serbian Paralympians full success at the forthcoming Games.
