First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received a congratulatory message from Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development of the French Republic Jean-Marc Ayrault, on the occasion of his assumption of duties in the new Government of Serbia:

"I have received with pleasure the news of you re-appointment as First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Please accept my heartfelt congratulations on this occasion.

I have no doubts whatsoever that this appointment, taking place several weeks after the holding of the Paris Western Balkans Summit, will enable us to resume, with renewed energy, our joint activities, to the benefit of the relations between France and Serbia, whereby I am primarily referring to the economic issues and issues from the industrial sector, that should be the focus of our attention, in order for our work on them to be boosted, in the interest of our two countries.

I am also looking forward to the fact that we will have the opportunity to maintain our joint work on Serbia's progress towards the European Union", reads the congratulatory message of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development of the French Republic.
