Minister Dacic receives a farewell call from Head of OSCE Mission in Kosovo and Metohija |

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a farewell call from Ambassador Jean-Claude Schlumberger, whose term of office as Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo and Metohija (OMIK) ends on 30 September.
In the talks, the interlocutors jointly underlined the importance of implementing the Mission's programme in the fields of institution building, democracy promotion, respect of human rights and the rule of law. In this context, Minister Dacic particularly emphasised the Programme concerning human rights and communities, monitoring the respect of human and community rights and the adherence to democratic standards. Moreover, support was given to the extension of OMIK activities, carried out in its status-neutral position and in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolution 1244. |
