Exhibition "Itinerarium Romanum Serbia", currently on display at the National Museum of Archeology, Anthropology and History of Peru, will be opened until 16 September 2016. The opening of the exhibition, co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Belgrade Institute of Archaeology and the Viminacium Archaeological Park, was attended by high-ranking officials of the Foreign Ministry of Peru.
Talking with Ambassador Jela Bacevic, Director of the National Museum of Archeology Dr. Ivan Gessi Solis expressed great satisfaction with the fact that this very museum was able to host such an important and elaborate exhibition, attracting many visitors in the past weeks. The exhibition displayed bronze busts of 18 Roman emperors, scale model of Viminacium town site, coins and jewelry originating from the same period, etc. The exhibition received great attention from Latin American audiences who had an opportunity to get acquainted with the fact that 18 Roman emperors were born in the territory of today's Serbia. |
