"Today's decision of the Supreme Court of Croatia to abolish the verdict against Branimir Glavas, who was convicted of war crimes against Serbian civilians, reflects the clear policy of Croatia to rehabilitate not only the Ustasha-run NDH, but also the criminals from the most recent war.
The message sent by this disgraceful act is one saying that it is permissible and normal to commit crimes against Serbs with impunity, thus opening the hunting season on Serbs, in addition to the hate speech being heard on a regular basis. It is such a policy on the part of Croatia that resulted in the rising number of incidents and violence against Serbs of Croatia and Serbian citizens, in relation to which a note of protest has been handed to Croatia today." |
