First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a farewell call from the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Serbia, H.E. Jean-Daniel Ruch.

During the meeting, it was stated that the bilateral relations between the two countries had been strengthened and the political dialogue improved through the exchange of visits at the highest level. They particularly emphasised progress in the fields of economy, culture, and, more recently, tourism as well.

In addition to the bilateral level, during the consecutive OSCE Chairmanships of Serbia and Switzerland, this Organisation achieved significant results.

Minister Dacic thanked Switzerland for its support to Serbia's reform process. Furthermore, he underlined the significant number of Swiss companies operating in Serbia and expressed his expectation that the investments from that country would rise.

Ambassador Ruch thanked for the good cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other institutions of the Republic of Serbia, and expressed his belief that the bilateral relations between our two countries would be further improved.
