"A lack of responsibility to our people and towards the state,as shown by certain right-wing parties claiming that the European path of Serbia is, in their words, a result of one man's will, referring to Prime Minister Vucic, is astounding.
Claiming this, they are purposefully oblivious of the fact that it was exactly two months ago in the general election that the citizens of Serbia gave an overwhelming support of such policy, whenSerbian anti-European parties suffered a fiasco by winningaltogether slightly more than 10 per cent of the votes. The elections were a referendum on the path its citizens wanted Serbia to take, rejecting the path of isolation, conflict and instability. It is in the best interest of Serbia to continue on its European path for the sake of the future and prosperity of our country by preserving and fostering friendly relations with Russia, China and other traditional partners. The citizens willcertainlyhave their sayon the matterprior to the decision on joining the EU, as the Prime Minister announced", Minister Dacic says in his statement. |
