Minister Dacic meets with UN Assistant Secretary-General |

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today the Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations, Assistant Administrator and Director of the Regional Bureau for Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (RBEC) at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Ms. Cihan Sultanoglu.
During the talks, both sides expressed satisfaction with highly successful years-long cooperation between the UNDP and Serbia, particularly reflected through the help and support the UNDP has provided to the implementation of global sustainable development goals and the new Development Partnership Framework 2016-2020 between the UN and Serbia. First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic underlined the importance of the assistance the UNDP provided to Serbia after the May 2014 floods, while Sultanoglu expressed gratitude to the Serbian Government for enabling, as of this year, the UN agencies in Serbia to operate under the same roof within the UN House. |
