Ambassador of theRepublicofSerbiato Mexico H.E. Goran Mesic opened an exhibition of artwork by Serbian artists and a contemporary Serbian film cycle at a renowned venue in the former Santa Cruz de Tlatelolco Monastery. The seventieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations betweenSerbiaandMexicowas marked on this occasion, in the presence of high-level guests fromMexicoand representatives from the diplomatic corps.

State Secretary for Culture Mr. Jaime Marques noted that the dialogue with Serbiahad been strengthened following the recent exchange of visits by the heads of state, whereas Ambassador Mesic expressed his expectation that the relations withMexico would continue to develop, highlighting the existing good cooperation, both bilateral and multilateral.
