Farewell call of the Ambassador of Romania in Belgrade

dacic amb_rumunije_1462016First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a farewell call from Romania's Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia, Daniel Banu.

On the occasion, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Banufor the achieved successful and cordial cooperation during his mission in Belgrade.

In the talks, they bothemphasised that the good bilateral relations were based on traditional ties and mutual understanding, and that these relations were considered a "model for good- neighbourly relations" in the region. They noted that, during the previous period, an intensive, open and constructive bilateral political dialogue had been conducted asa result of numerous visits exchanged between Serbian and Romanian officials.

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic and Romanian Ambassador DanielBanu highlighted the mutual commitment to continuing the upward trend in relations and to further strengthening cooperation in all areas of common interest.
