The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Cairo and the Austrian Cultural Forum organized a joint event titled "Living Units", presenting the works of artists from Austria, South-East Europe and Egypt.

The event was launched on 25 May 2016 by an exhibition opening and continued to hold roundtable discussions and seminars on artists' experiences related to their work and life in different geographic regions. The exhibition opening and side-events attracted great attention of the Egyptian artist community, numerous visitors and the media.
