On the occasion of 24 May, the Day of Bulgarian Education, Culture and Slavic Literature, the Director of the Department for Neighbouring and South-East European Countries in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Ambassador Slobodan Vukcevic, attended yesterday's ceremony paying tribute to brothers Cyril and Methodius and their life's work.

On this occasion, Ambassador Slobodan Vukcevic, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, laid a wreath at the monument to brothers Cyril and Methodius, located in the park near the Vuk Karadzic Monument in Belgrade.

At the monument, wreaths were also laid by representatives of the City of Belgrade and several Slavic countries' Embassies, as well as by associations and citizens.
