SERBIAN FOREIGN MINISTRY PROTESTS TO ALBANIAN REPRESENTATIVE IN BELGRADE

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia sent today to the Charge d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Belgrade a note protesting against the recent statements by Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs most strongly condemned the provocative statement of Albania’s Prime Minister which is in gross violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.

The Serbian Foreign Ministry pointed out to the Albanian representative in Belgrade that such statements harmed good-neighbourly relations and undermined regional cooperation.
