On the occasion of Banja Luka City Day, the Belgrade Philharmonic String Quartet held a concert "A Gift for Banja Luka" on 22 April 2016 at the National Theatre of the Republicof Srpska.

The performance was a present from the Consulate General of the Republicof Serbiato the citizens of Banja Luka. Mr.  Nikolic, Consul General of the Republicof Serbiain Banja Luka, said in addressing the audiences that the recital represented another gesture through which, in this symbolic manner, we wanted to show the closeness existing between the Republicof Serbiaand the Republicof Srpska. President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Mr. Nedeljko Cubrilovic, Chairperson of the Council of Peoples of the Republic of Srpska Ms. Nada Tesanovic, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Hercegovina Mr. Igor Crnadak attended the event.
