On 14 April 2016, the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Rome organized, in cooperation with Confindustria Genova and Confindustria Serbia, a conference titled: "Italia-Serbia: fare business insieme" ("Italy-Serbia:Doing business together").

The Conference was opened by the Vice-President of Confindustria Genova, S. Messina, and, on this occasion, he thanked the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia on its initiative, while also presenting the basic characteristics of the Liguria region's industrial system. Ambassador A. Hrustanovic gave a speech in which she reminded us of thetwo countries' historical relations, as well as the functional strategic partnership between Serbia and Italy in many areas, in conditions of the complex geopolitical and economic situation in the world. Representatives of the Italian media devotedsignificant attention to this event.
