The evening of cultural exchange between Serbiaand Japanwas organised at the Embassy of the Republicof Serbiain Tokyoon 12 April 2016, on which occasion flautist Hisako Yoshikawa performed a one-hour concert, accompanied by Japanese artists playing the guitar and the double bass.

During the concert, Serbian and Japanese compositions were performed alternatively, and Ambassador Nenad Glisic joined the artists, playing the guitar, in the performance of the composition "Tamo daleko" (Far Away). In his opening remarks before the commencement of the concert, Ambassador Glisic thanked the artist for her performance, whose aim was to improve the cultural cooperation between Serbia and Japan, as well as for her performance at the humanitarian aid concert for flood-affected areas in our country.
