First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic talked today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador Guillaume Long.

The Serbian Foreign Minister conveyed his condolences to his counterpart, in the wake of the massive earthquake that hit Ecuador. Minister Dacic stressed that Serbia received the news of those killed and injured in the earthquake with grief, for Ecuador was a friendly country that had not recognized Kosovo and Metohija and voted in favour of Serbia in UNESCO.

Minister Ivica Dacic offered assistance to the people of Ecuador.
