On the occasion of commemorating one hundredth anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the Republic of Serbia and Spain, at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Madrid, the film "See you in Montevideo" ("Montevideo, Bog te video"), by Dragan Bjelogrlic, was screened at the Spanish Film Library on Friday, 8 April 2016.

It is one of a series of films done by the Film Centre of Serbia in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Before the screening, Director of the Spanish Film Library Catherine Gautier and Ambassador of the Republicof Serbiain Madrid Danko Prokic addressed the audience. Within the Serbian Cinema Series, being held in Madrid from 8 to 28 April 2016, the following films will be screened: "Redemption Street" ("Ustanicka ulica") by Miroslav Terzic, "Mamaros" by Momcilo Mrdakovic, "Tilva Ros" by Nikola Lezaic, "Circles" ("Krugovi") by Srdjan Golubovic, as well as historical documentaries "Trust in the Lord" ("Sa verom u Boga") by Mihajlo Popovic, and "Karadjordje" by Ilija Stanojevic. The film screening draw great attention both from the members of the Serbian diaspora and the Spanish audience.
