Opening of the “ItinerariumRomanumSerbiae” Exhibition in Brasilia

izlozba brazilija_1822016In the organisation of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Brasilia, the exhibition "ItinerariumRomanumSerbiae" was inaugurated on 16 February in the Federal District AssemblyofBrasilia City, and it coincided with the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia. The ceremony was attended by high-level representatives from the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, deputies, representatives of the Diplomatic Corps and the media, as well as numerous figures from cultural and public life. T. Silva, representative of the Council of Curators, deputy W.N. de Roure, Prof Dr M. Korac, Head of the Institute of Archaeology of the Republic of Serbia, as well as the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Brazil, V. Lazic and Celina Leao, President of the Federal District Assembly,took this opportunity to address the audience. The exhibition garnered much media attention and it was positively assessed by Ambassadors from the EU countries, as well as by the hosts, with the statement that this exhibition was “the best one” since 2010, when the new building of the Federal District Assembly was inaugurated.
