First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today the delegation of the World Jewish Restitution Organization.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Jewish community in the Republic of Serbia.

The delegation of the World Jewish Restitution Organization expressed its profound gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their support in the adoption of the Law on the rectification of the consequences of property confiscation from Holocaust victims who have no living legal heirs, in line with the 2009 Terezin Declaration, and for all the assistance extended to the Jewish community by the Serbian people during World War II.
