dacic -oebsThe OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Serbia's Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić told Serbia's news agency Tanjug on 23 January 2015 that he is "deeply concerned about the escalation of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, particularly the use of heavy weapons", including unguided Grad rockets.

"All parties should respect the cease-fire and immediately stop using heavy weapons in civilian areas. An immediate meeting of all signatories of the Minsk Documents should now be held and each party must pledge to ensure full respect and implementation of the provisions contained in those Documents," Dacic said.

He stressed his full support for the efforts of Ambassador Tagliavini and urged all parties to return to the negotiating table within the Trilateral Contact Group.

The OSCE Chairman-in-Office concluded by urging all parties to fully respect the safety and security of SMM monitors on the ground, and to ensure they can fulfill their mandate effectively.
