The Special Representative of the Serbian OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the Transdniestrian Settlement Process Ambassador Radojko Bogojević will visit Chisinau and Tiraspol starting today.
Bogojević is visiting Chisinau and Tiraspol for the first time this year to prepare the ground for the next round of 5+2 negotiations, which will be scheduled once the working groups and the meetings in the 1+1 format resume their work in 2015. The chief negotiators of the sides have not met since 6 October 2014, when the electoral process put Chisinau's engagement at this level on hold, pending a new government. Bogojević will meet interlocutors from both sides on his trip to Tiraspol on 9 February, and in Chisinau on 10 February. On Monday, 9 February, journalists are invited to a press briefing with the OSCE Special Representative Ambassador Bogojević at 18:00 at the Tiraspol Office of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, 1 Furmanov Street.
