First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Hendrik Gerrit Cornelis van den Dool.

In the meeting they discussed the current bilateral relations issues, placing special emphasis on economic cooperation, the UNESCO membership of so-called “Kosovo”, and also the opening of the first Chapters in the Republic of Serbia’s EU accession negotiations.

Ambassador Hendrik Gerrit Cornelis van den Dool agreed with the assessment that the bilateral relations were good and conveyed that, during its Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2016, the Netherlands would continue its support to Serbia’s EU integration process and the opening of new negotiating chapters.
