First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs children from “Vukovar 2” kindergarten, who are on a three-day visit to Belgrade.
Addressing the preschoolers Minister said he did not want to talk to them about politics, but to express his hope that they would have a happy childhood and grow into successful adults. “Contrary to its history, Serbia wants peace and stability to prevail in the Balkans”, Dacic stressed. The Minister also said that it was Serbia’s obligation to take care of the rights of Serbian people regardless of where they lived, noting the right to use one’s own language and script as one of the fundamental rights. Minister Dacic then had a photo opportunity with the children and their educators and distributed gifts to them. |
