Minister Dacic meets with Ambassador of Finland |

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today with Pertti Ikonen, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Finland in Serbia.
During the talk, both sides expressed their confidence that the friendly relations between Serbia and Finland would continue to improve in all areas of mutual interest. Thy also referred to the latest developments when Croatia, due to the refugee crisis, first closed some border crossings, and then completely halted outgoing freight traffic from Serbia. Finish Ambassador Ikonen conveyed the support of his country for the process of Serbia’s European integration and stressed the role of our country in terms of improved relations in the region. Minister Dacic expressed satisfaction with the increased presence of Finnish companies in Serbia and thanked for the continuous support and expert assistance of Finland, thus contributing to the successful implementation of reforms in the Republic of Serbia. |
