First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica had talks today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Mr. Juma Rashed Al Dhaheri.

The UAE Ambassador conveyed the gratitude of the of his country’s leadership for the support Serbia has given to the candidacy of the UAE for membership of the Human Rights Council.

Other issues concerning multilateral diplomacy were also discussed, with special emphasis on cooperation between the two countries within the framework of UNESCO.

Bilateral relations between the two countries were assessed as very good, with a clear perspective of further strengthening.

Opinions and views were also exchanged on key international and regional issues of special interest for the United Arab Emirates, while both sides underscored the importance of and the need for the fight against terrorism.
