First Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic received today Ambassador Jan Varso, whose mission in the Republic of Serbia will come to an end later this week. Both sides agreed that their bilateral relations were very good and highlighted the common interest in their deepening and further strengthening, especially in the economic area.
Minister Dacic underlined that there were very good relations between our countries in all areas, expressing at the same time gratitude for the continued support of the Slovak Republic to the European integration of the Republic of Serbia, especially for the principled position of Slovakia on the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia. Ambassador Jan Varso personally thanked Minister Dacic for his cooperation, noting that aside from the very good relations between the two countries and working relationship with the officials and institutions of the Republic of Serbia, his tenure was also marked by the conviction of the strong friendship between the two countries and peoples. They discussed current regional issues, beginning of the operation of the Western Balkans Fund, as well as issues pertaining to the work of the OSCE. |
