First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had talks today with Her Britannic Majesty’s Ambassador to Serbia Denis Keefe.

Ambassador Keefe delivered a letter from UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond thanking Minister Dacic for a congratulatory message on the occasion of his re-appointment to the post. The letter emphasized that the United Kingdom would continue to strongly support Serbia's European integration and expressed the hope that first negotiating chapters would be opened soon. In addition, a readiness was expressed for continuation of cooperation with Serbia’s OSCE Chairmanship.

At today's meeting discussed were the issues of promoting bilateral cooperation, relations in the region, as well as the current topics from the agenda of Serbia's OSCE Chairmanship.
