First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dacic signed today the Book of Condolences opened at the Indian Embassy following the demise of former President of the Republic of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
“I received with profound sorrow the news that H.E. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the former President of the Republic of India, who left an indelible mark in the history of your country, has passed away. This is an irreparable loss for India and the world, considering his contribution to its development, particularly in its breakthrough in advanced technologies. We remember his prominent role as a statesman consistently committed to world peace and the respect of the principles in international relations upon which the Non-Aligned Movement was founded and which serve today as the cornerstone of traditional friendship and cooperation between our two countries”, wrote the Serbian Foreign Minister. |
