First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a farewell call by Ambassador of the Republic of Finland in the Republic of Serbia Pekka Orpana, whose tenure is drawing to a close.
Minister Dacic expressed his gratitude for Finland's continuous support to Serbia in its European integration process, particularly in the context of project implementation, providing expert assistance and transfer of know‐how in various areas that are instrumental in carrying out the necessary reforms. Interlocutors agreed that relations between Serbia and Finland were on the constant rise. The Serbian Foreign Minister expressed his pleasure over the strategic partnership between the Finnish company SISU Auto and the FAP lorry factory from Priboj, hoping that Finnish investors would be increasingly present in Serbia. Ambassador Orpana stressed that Serbia had done a lot as far as enhancement of relations in the region were concerned and commended, at the same time, Serbia's efforts invested in the European integration process. |
