minsk 21._julThe OSCE Chairman‐in‐Office, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic is on a visit to Belarus, where he met with President Alexander Lukashenko and Foreign Minister Vladimir Mackay.

Minister Dacic pointed out that today’s talks were very good and that relations between the two countries were friendly. The Serbian Foreign Minister stressed that Serbia wanted to continue good relations in the sphere of politics, economy, as well as in all other areas.

“In my capacity as the OSCE Chairman‐in‐Office, I would like to express great satisfaction with the role played by Belarus, which it continues to play in the peace process when it comes to Ukraine.

This is where the Trilateral Contact Group, Heads of the Working Groups and Normandy Format representatives meet and it is here that many agreements have been reached as far as the crisis in Ukraine is concerned. Minsk has become synonymous with the peace process over Ukraine.

I have come here to give support to the Trilateral Contact Group and to encourage the reaching of agreements, small, tiny steps, but in the end giant ones that would help end the war and make a transition to the political process”, pointed out Serbian Foreign Minister and the OSCE Chairman‐in‐Office Dacic.
