“I want to thank Belarus for the hospitality offered to the Trilateral Contact Group and Working Groups that have been formed. The contribution of Belarus is great due to the fact that many peace agreements have been reached here in Minsk.

My visit to Minsk is related to my intention to convey on behalf of the OSCE Troika, the German and Swiss Ministers and on my own behalf, the positions regarding the peace process in and around Ukraine.

My desire is to encourage and give additional momentum to the peace process. I am pleased that we could just hear that it was agreed and arranged to withdraw tanks and types of weapons of caliber up to 100 mm. This is a significant impetus for the successful continuation of the peace process”, stressed OSCE Chairman‐in‐Office Dacic in his statement.
