First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met with the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, on Saturday 11 July 2015.

The two Ministers considered current issues of bilateral relations, putting special emphasis on economic cooperation. The Ministers also exchanged views on current political developments in Europe and worldwide.

Minster Dacic informed his interlocutor on the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue and the expectation that the first EU negotiating chapters would be opened by the end of 2015. He also appealed for additional support of the Netherlands during its European Council Presidency in the first half of 2016.

Minister Kunders reiterated the Netherlands’ support to Serbia and its European integration path, as well as the Netherlands’ support for the opening of first chapters in 2015.

The Head of Dutch diplomacy expressed his appreciation for the cordial reception and invited Minister Dacic to visit the Netherlands.
