mspThe Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia sent a protest note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina after the attack on the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic that took place today during the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the killing of Bosniaks in the UN safe haven of Srebrenica.

“Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, by attending the ceremony, showed his readiness to bow to the Srebrenica victims and move forward in relations in the region, which we expect other countries to follow as well. We expect condemnation in public by the officials of Bosnia and Herzegovina of a murder attempt at the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia,“ reads the note of the Ministry.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak, to whom the note was delivered, condemned in the strongest of terms the attack on the Prime Minister of Serbia.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia expects that the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina will locate those who attacked the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and punish them according to the law, and inform Serbia about the outcome of the investigation.
