Finnish President receives OSCE Troika led by CiO Dacic

osce Finland1First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic headed today, as the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, the OSCE Ministerial Troika delegation received by Finnish President Sauli Niinisto.

The OSCE Ministerial Troika, current Chairman-in-Office Dacic, former Chairman-in-Office, Swiss Foreign Minister Didier Burkhalter, and the Special Envoy of the Government of Germany to take over the Chairmanship next year, Gernot Erler, talked to the President of Finland about the event, organized by the Serbian OSCE Chairmanship and the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, being held today in Helsinki on the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the Helsinki Final Act.

Chairman-in-Office Dacic informed President Niinista on diplomatic efforts undertaken by the OSCE in resolving the crisis in and around Ukraine. The Finnish President has offered full support to the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine and the process conducted under the auspices of the Trilateral Contact Group.
