First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic talked today with Resident Coordinator of the UN Country Team in Serbia Irena Vojackova-Sollorano.

The topics dominating the agenda included the upcoming finalization of the new UN – Serbia Development Partnership Framework for the 2016-2020 period, in line with the goals of the Global Development Agenda, expected to be adopted by the September Summit in New York, and the Serbian European integration process. The overall value of the Framework implementation is estimated at $168.5 million.

The invaluable support of the UN Country Team in the Republic of Serbia was underscored in meeting, in the light of Serbian preparations for participation in three important international conferences devoted to sustainable development. The possibility of Serbia hosting the Regional Sustainable Development Conference this autumn was also considered.
