First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic sent today a message of condolences to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov over the demise of Yevgeny Primakov.
"Dear Sergey, Please allow me to extend to you my most heartfelt condolences over the demise of Yevgeny Maksimovich Primakov, who left a permanent and an indelible mark in the more recent history of the Russian Federation, by discharging his duties in a conscientious, dedicated and a far-sighted manner, while being at the helm. Let the memory of his endeavours be a vow for the further rise of Russia, where he was one of the architects. Serbia will always remember the forgettable, that he was its great attested friend in the most difficult of times. He demonstrated, at those difficult moments, what only great men can, how one single gesture suffices to blaze the trail for the future generations. On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and on my own behalf, please convey my profound sympathy over the irreparable loss to the family of Yevgeny Maksimovich", the Minister's message of condolences says. |
