MFA Statement on the terrorist attack in Tunisia |

In the wake of the terrorist attack carried out in the Tunisian city of Sousse, on 26 June 2015, the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Tunisia has reported that no nationals of the Republic of Serbia had been identified among the casualties and the wounded, according to the first available data, obtained from the Tunisian Ministry of the Interior and travel agencies dealing with Serbian tourists.
The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Tunisia is in permanent contact with the competent Tunisian authorities and continues to keep abreast of the current situation and report about it. Incidentally, the city of Sousse is under police and military blockade and Tunisian authorities are conducting an investigation and undertaking the necessary security measures. In the light of the current situation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Serbia in Tunisia urge all the Serbian citizens who are spending their holidays or otherwise staying in Tunisia, to take precautionary measures due to heightened risks for their personal safety.
