Ministers Dacic,Klimkin discuss Ukraine crisis and further steps for de-escalation of conflict in eastern Ukraine |

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic, in his capacity as OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, talked in Vienna with Minister of Foreign Affairs of UkrainePavloKlimkin, about the crisis in and around Ukraine, the situation on the ground and further steps for de-escalating the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
The Ministers agreed that it was necessary to maintain the political dialogue within the Trilateral Contact Group and the task forces, to improve the cooperation between the Normandy Format and the OSCE and to appoint, in the shortest possible time, the new Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for Ukraine. Other current issues concerning the work of the OSCE from the domain of bilateral cooperation were discussed in the meeting, particularly in relation to the preparations for the forthcoming visit to Ukraine. |
