dacic-amb. brazilaFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a farewell call from the Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil Serge Louis Canaes, whose term in the Republic of Serbia will come to an end later this month.

The interlocutors noted that the bilateral relations were good and characterized by a high level of mutual understanding, without outstanding issues, and that there were possibilities for intensifying economic and military cooperation.
Minister Dacic thanked the Ambassador of Brazil for his engagements thus far and for his country’s principled support to the issue of Kosovo and Metohija and, accordingly, for supporting the efforts of the Republic of Serbia to reach a mutually acceptable, durable and sustainable solution to the issue of Serbia’s southern province, in the interest of the stability of the entire region, with the expectation that it would be continued in the future.
Ambassador Canaes conveyed his expectation that the overall relations between Serbia and Brazil would be further promoted in the coming period, particularly in the economic area.
