Minister Dacic discusses cooperation within UNESCO with Australian delegation

amb australijeFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today the Australian delegation led by Ambassador Peter Woolcott, responsible for environmental issues.

The two sides talked about cooperation within UNESCO, particularly about the coming sitting of the World Heritage Committee in Bonn, to be held in late June 2015. The Australian side informed the Minister about the activities undertaken with the aim of protecting the Great Barrier Reef, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Both parties expressed their interest in further strengthening all-round cooperation and exchange of visits between the two countries’ officials.

Minister Dacic took the opportunity to renew the open invitation for Australia’s Foreign Minister to visit Serbia.
