First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia met today with Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation's Federal Assembly Valentina Matviyenko, within the official visit of the Russian delegation to Belgrade.

In the cordial talks, they rated highly the bilateral relations and confirmed the mutual interest for further development of overall bilateral cooperation, and also the promotion of relations between the two countries in the field of trade and economy. Views were exchanged on vital international issues, and also on the Republic of Serbia's current OSCE Chairmanship.
