OSCE Chairman-in-Office Dacic in meeting with Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia Burkhardt

burkhard1Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic , in his capacity as OSCE Chairman-in-Office, received today Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, Peter Burkhardt.

In the conversation, they expressed satisfaction with the cooperation so far under the Chairmanship of Serbia, particularly regarding two international events that Serbia as the current OSCE Chairman-in-Office, organized in Belgrade (Conference on security sector governance and reform on 21 April and the Conference on the protection of safety and integrity of journalists in the OSCE region on 26-27 March).

OSCE Chairman-in-Office Dacic accepted the invitation of the OSCE Mission to Serbia to open the annual meeting of Heads of OSCE Missions in South-Eastern Europe, which will be held in Belgrade on 21 May.

It was stated that in the coming period they would work on improving the coordination of activities between the OSCE Missions and the Chairmanship, in order to make best use of all the OSCE mechanisms in achieving the declared objectives of the Organization.
