ambasador bangladesaFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today H. E. Mr. Shahdat Hossain, Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to the Republic of Serbia on a non-resident basis, with the seat in Rome, following the Ambassador’s presentation of Letters of Credence to Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic.

Minister Dacic pointed out the need of reinvigorating the political dialogue and the exchange of all-level visits and recalled his recent meeting with the Bangladeshi Foreign Minister Mahmood Ali, on the margins of The Hague Global Conference on Cyberspace, when the two interlocutors agreed on a high-level visit to take place in the near future.

The Serbian Foreign Minister thanked for the position of the People's Republic of Bangladesh concerning non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo.

The importance of further advancement of the very good and traditionally friendly relations between our two countries has been reaffirmed in an open and friendly
conversation, and possibilities for intensifying the economic and other forms of cooperation have been explored.
