First Deputy Prime Minster and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Serbia Menho Mahrus Bahum.

The meeting discussed current issues in bilateral relations, with emphasis on mutual interest for further strengthening political cooperation between the two countries and improving their relations in the fields of tourism, transport, investment and defence.

Ambassador Bahum handed out the letter from Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt Sameh Shukri to First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic, referring to Egypt’s candidature as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council in 2016-2017.
