The political and security situation in Libya has deteriorated, particularly in urban centers in Tripoli, Sirte, Benghazi and Derna. This development has resulted in the departure of many foreign nationals and staff of certain diplomatic and consular missions from Libya, and there is an increased risk of armed robbery, kidnapping of foreigners and attacks on the population.

We appeal to the citizens of the Republic of Serbia to avoid trips to Libya. Citizens of the Republic of Serbia who are in Libya are advised to leave the country.
