First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today with the CoE Parliamentary Assembly President Anne Brasseur. The two interlocutors discussed CoE issues with special emphasis on the standards of democracy, human rights and the rule of law in Serbia and the region.

Ms. Brasseur highlighted the role of Serbia in the region, in particular, as the factor of stability as well as the responsibility of the OSCE Chairmanship in the very important period of time for Europe.

Minister Dacic emphasized that Serbia attached great importance to the CoE PA because it was the institution where all current issues in Europe could be discussed.
