amb iranFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia received today Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Serbia Majid Fahim Pour.

The Iranian Ambassador delivered a message of condolences from Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to Minister Dacic, over the tragic helicopter crash that resulted in the loss of 7 lives. “Your Excellency, I extend to you and the people of Serbia condolences over this tragic event, sympathizing with the families of the victims and their suffering”, says the message.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic expressed interest of the Republic of Serbia to advance relations with Iran, specifically in the fields of economy, culture and education.
Minister Dacic welcomed the ongoing negotiations on Iranian nuclear program and expressed his expectations the process would lead to the narrowing of differences and a final agreement.
The Ambassador of Iran invited the Head of Serbian diplomacy to participate in the Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement to be held from 7 – 10 June in Tehran, adding that this would be a good opportunity for improvement of overall bilateral cooperation.
Ambassador Majid Fahim Pour also conveyed the Iranian Foreign Minister’s wishes for good health and success to the Serbian Minister, and for advancement and prosperity of Serbian people.
