The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Serbian Embassy in Tripoli, examined the information on Serbian citizens kidnapped at the hospital in Sirte as carried in the local media, and determined that no Serbian citizens were among those held hostage, according to the data gathered.

The Serbian Embassy to Libya is in constant contact with our citizens who informed the Embassy that they performed their regular activities at their workplaces.
The Ministry and the Serbia Tripoli Embassy will continue to closely watch the situation on the ground.
