DThe OSCE Chairman-in-Office and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic strongly condemned the terrorist attacks on the participants of the “Art, Blasphemy and Freedom of Speech” panel and on a synagogue in Copenhagen in which two civilians lost their lives and five police officers were injured, and offered his condolences to the families of the victims.

“This is yet another attack not only on freedom of speech, but also the core values of the OSCE participating States. Multicultural societies are the foundation of the states in the OSCE region, and today, more than ever before, we have to stand up for tolerance and mutual understanding of our diversity”, Dacic pointed out.
The OSCE Chairman-in-Office called on the participating States to intensify their efforts in advancing tolerance and protecting democratic values.
